A Program to Support Entrepreneurship in Tunisia Launches an Awareness Tour

The "Startups and Innovative SMEs" program, implemented by the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations in partnership with Smart Capital and funded by the World Bank, is set to launch an awareness tour targeting entrepreneurs in Tunisia's interior regions. This tour aims to highlight the investment opportunities provided by the program to foster a better business climate for startups and innovative SMEs across the country.

The tour will begin on January 30, 2025, in Bizerte, followed by Kairouan on February 5, Sfax on February 13, and Gabès on February 14. During these meetings, participants will be introduced to the various components of the program, funded with million by the World Bank to support innovation and competitiveness. The program offers financing and support mechanisms to help innovative companies overcome challenges and achieve growth.

The tour will also feature networking events, providing entrepreneurs, experts, and key stakeholders the opportunity to exchange experiences, address barriers to investment, and explore available funding solutions and mechanisms.

The program’s ultimate goal is to promote sustainable growth by creating new job opportunities and enhancing the competitiveness of Tunisian startups on regional and international levels. Additionally, the tour aims to develop partnerships and synergies with experts and institutions, contributing to the long-term development of Tunisia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

This initiative offers a unique opportunity to foster innovation, encourage collaboration, and position Tunisia as a key player in the startup and entrepreneurship sector.
